Clucky Dog - Buttery Cayenne & Habanero Wing Sauce - 5 Oz

To date, Lucky Dog Hot Sauce has only ever produced hot sauce. And while it feels like we're pretty good at that, it also feels long past time that changed, with the release of Clucky Dog! 

Dubbed "Fowl’s Best Friend", this buttery, hot & delicious wing sauce can be used on a wide array of foods, but of course it especially shines on poultry. Whether you prefer drums or flats, Clucky Dog isn't just another run-of-the-mill high-acid Buffalo sauce. Starting with a base of tangy cayenne mash, Clucky Dog blends in fiery habanero, sweet Hungarian paprika, & roasted garlic for a well-balanced burn.   

For best results, prepare wings to taste & doneness, then toss in Clucky Dog. Use liberally - the layered, savory flavor & creeping heat will keep you coming back for more! 

Pro tip: don't limit it to wings! Clucky Dog can be used on beef, pork, fish, veggies, pizza, and more. And since Clucky Dog is made with a vegan butter substitute, it's vegetarian-friendly, too!

The Story Behind the Sauce

Clucky Dog was originally created by request as a private label recipe. When that didn't pan out, I decided it was too tasty to shelve it. So Clucky Dog was born! Many years ago I did an April Fool's post with a chicken replacing my beloved Lucky on the label - an extremely  unpopular idea, as it turned out. Who knew! But the name always stuck with me, and I'm thrilled to finally put it to legitimate use. I've long wanted to make a wing sauce, but with my own unique twists. I hope you enjoy Clucky Dog as much as I do!
