Chrome - Mandarin Orange, Red Savina Habanero w/Drake's 1500 Dry Hopped Pale Ale - 5 Oz
Introducing Lucky Dog Hot Sauce Chrome!
Featuring Drake's 1500 Dry-Hopped Pale Ale, Chrome is Lucky Dog's most pepper-forward hot sauce. Made with creator Scott Z's childhood favorite Red Savina Habanero peppers, with mandarin orange, New Mexico red chile, just a stitch of horseradish, & little savory garlic squishies that provide flavor & texture
Chrome is a well balanced, citrusy, and respectably hot pepper sauce that pairs with virtually everything, leaving a subtle finishing note of pale ale in a way that in no way overtakes the sauce or compromises it as a condiment.
Chrome has been out for some time now, but was formerly an exclusive for Heatonist & Drake's, or at my in-person events. Now it's available to everyone!
Use on eggs, tacos, pizza, seafood, wings, any sort of protein & more.

The Story Behind the Sauce
I was sitting on my couch drinking a refreshing, ice cold bottle of Drake's 1500, watching the Warriors in the playoffs. Life is good. As I was sipping that delicious pale ale on that swelteringly hot day, I took to thinking about how well the citrus notes of the beer would pair with habanero. And how I've always wanted to make a sauce with the Red Savina, a an old favorite. And as the game wore on, a recipe started forming in my mind's eye.
So I pulled out my tablet, ordered some ingredients, and committed to the idea of making such a sauce, just for funsies.
Shortly afterwards, I was approached by Heatonist to make a sauce for an upcoming subscription box. It felt fated. I knew this was going to be the one. So I started scrambling to get the recipe finalized, and after meeting with the nice folks at Drake's, it was on - they loved the idea, and fortunately they also love the sauce!
The moral to this story is, if anyone tells you that sitting around watching basketball & drinking Drake's beer is a waste of time, well; it certainly worked for me.
I'm thrilled to finally be able to share Chrome with everyone!
